Many European countries are already in decline and most others will soon join the downward cascade. China has 1.4 billion people today and is projected to reach 560 million by the turn of the century – just think about the impact of losing nearly 60% of the population. In Japan population has already peaked and all of Asia will soon follow. Almost every major population center will peak in the next several decades and begin to decline. The information is fascinating and the implications for society are enormous. Learn about population trends throughout the world – which countries are declining now and when others will decline.
